Beneath The Massacre is currently recording their new album, “Dystopia”, in North Studio in Quebec with producer Yannick St-Amand (Despised Icon, Ion dissonance, Neuraxis). Artwork will be handled by Felix Rancourt. The album is expected to be released this October via Prosthetic Records. You can also view some studio footage of the band recording at YouTube.

Apocalyptica have announced a contest where the grand price winner will perform the song “I’m not Jesus” with the band live for 5 shows in early August, which includes their Ozzfest appearance on August 9th, 2008. The winner will have an all expenses paid trip from their home to the first show and back after the tour. The winner will also live on the bus as a member.
To enter the contest, upload a video of yourself singing the Apocalyptica song “I’m not Jesus” from their album, “Worlds Collide” to the official YouTube group, and submit your entry to ImNotJesus.com. 25 semi-finalists will be chosen with the most overall views. Lamb Of God vocalist Randy Blythe will appear in the movie “The Graves”, playing an evil denizen of Skull City named “Deacon Luke”. Also appearing in the movie are Tony Todd (“Candyman”) and Bill Mosley (“The Devil’s Rejects”). The film was written and directed by former comic book writer Brian Pulido.

Dead To This World (Immortal) will have their album “First Strike for Spiritual Renewance” released In Australia/New Zealand via Modern Invasion Music with an exclusive bonus song.
The band will also hit the studio to record 3 songs for a split, and are working on a new full-length, aiming for a fall release.
