A Static Lullaby - Rattlesnake!

What shall we call the chosen style that A Static Lullaby plays? Southern metalcore? Southern post-hardcore? Southern screamo? My preference is to go with an Every Time I Die clone, since we do live in a day and age where people can pick and choose a band they’d love to rip off.

The formula for this style of southern-fried metalcore has been set. Take a bunch of drop-hopping southern styled riffs, crank up the guitars, then toss some of that down home cooking on top of some good old single-note breakdown beats. A Static Lullaby differs from most ETID clones by making the clean sung choruses more of the radio-rock post-hardcore semi-whine that gets close Atreyu, mixing it with the likes of radio ex-punks like 3 Days Grace. The end result is a glossed up version of your standard ETID clone with none of the urgency or fun.
