Blessed By A Broken Heart - Pedal to the Metal

When you wrap up 80’s glam and synth bands up with post-hardcore, you’d probably end up with a collection of radio clitches that reviewers who favour anything “art” should beat the living daylights out of. I guess it’s too bad that the music is a perfect amalgamation of 80’s glam metal rockin’ riffs and booming snare drums, spliced with 80’s snyth keyboards and electric drums, with some post-hardcore double bass running, single-note breakdowns and the vocal time splitting time between singing and screaming.

What you get with “Pedal to the Metal” is so much of the popular rock and metal in the 80’s freshened up with well-done versions of stuff we hate right now. What really sucks is how fun it is.

Your ears are apparently broken, this record sounded awful in all aspects, the vocals are like taking a cheese grater to my scalp….
