Judas Priest - Nostradamus

I wish I could’ve caught the first Pirates Of The Carribean movie, and Batman Returns in the theater instead of seeing them on video. Those are 2 great examples where the actual hype lived up to the movie, so of course you can tell that the actual hype building up to this latest Judas Priest album is absolutely fitting. The energy and anticipation of this album are simply too much to bear that it’s almost unbearable…
Simply put, this is one of the biggest and grand epics to come along in a very long time. Judas Priest fills their own personal brand of rock/metal with strings, orchestras, synths, pianos, and even ballads about, whoa - love! Nothing ever sounds hokey or fake, as every introduction fits perfectly into the mostly slow, glorious songs.
Typically you think of young bands making that first great album, or sometimes really nailing an epic effort early on in their career, but would you believe that Judas Priest is album to create such a masterpiece, one of the grandest, a magnum opus after 34 years? What a great way to herald in back some of the glory days of metal.
