Corpus Mortale - A New Species of Deviant

Did you ever hear a band that overdid it with technical proficiency? Fear not! For those who like just a touch of progressive and technical ability added to their metal in a subtle fashion, Corpus Mortale is here. They bring action oriented roaming riffs, dueling guitars, as well as dueling vocals supported by many double-bass drum beating and blast-beat bashing, with the simpler moments coming close to something akin to the low tremolo picking of Polish bands like say Lost Soul or Vader (strange, as this band is from Denmark).
Fun enough for sure, however, it’s nothing you haven’t heard before. Though the execution is fairly nice, the production lacks a slight bit to be noticeable (the snare drum gets close to becoming a ‘click’).
